Download the theme
Open the access page from your "Your purchase" email (or the screen after checkout) and click "Download". You get a ZIP file – do not unzip it.

Upload the theme to Shopify
In Shopify Admin open Online Store → Themes. In "Theme library" click Add theme → Upload zip file and choose the downloaded ZIP. The upload takes up to a minute.

Enter your license key
Click Customize on the new theme. In the left sidebar open the settings icon (Theme settings) → Lacrim License, paste the key in the format LCRM-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and click Save.

Check the activation
The "Activation required" notice in the editor disappears automatically. Your store will appear in the activations list on your access page.
Publish
When your store is ready, click Publish. The activation is bound to your .myshopify.com domain and covers every copy of the theme in it.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid key"
Make sure you copied the whole key including the LCRM- prefix. The letters O/I/L are automatically read as 0/1.
"Activation limit reached"
The key is already active in another store. Release the old activation from your access page or contact us.
The notice does not disappear
Make sure you clicked Save in the editor and reload the page. If you use an ad blocker, allow our domain.
Download link expired
The link is active for 7 days. Your license stays valid – email us and we will send a new download link.
Updates
You will receive an email when a new version is released. Upload the new ZIP as a separate theme, carry over your settings and publish – your license key stays the same.
